Functie omschrijving

• Manage and oversee the daily activities of the inventory management department.
• Implement and maintain effective inventory management procedures and practices.
• Monitor and optimize inventory levels to meet operational requirements while minimizing excess or obsolete inventory.
• Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventories to maintain data accuracy.
• Collaborate with other departments, such as warehouse and procurement, to streamline processes and resolve discrepancies.
• Analyze data and generate reports to provide insights into inventory management performance.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
• Assist in the development and implementation of strategic inventory management initiatives.

Functie eisen

• Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field (preferred).
• Proven experience in inventory management, stock control, or warehouse supervision.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in using inventory management software and Microsoft Office applications.
• Knowledge of logistics and supply chain best practices.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and make decisions under pressure.
• Fluent English is required.
